I don't know if this is the right place for suggesting this, but as I was told in KDE forums to post here, I'm doing so. I think it would be nice to have the ability to make all areas translucent when using Oxygen-Transparent. I mean, files/folders area in Dolphin for example, isn't transucent. Same for some parts of Amarok, the text area of Quassel, etc... |

Yes, this is the right place to post this. However it seems as though we can already accomplish what you want by right click on the window title -> Opacity -> Set to whatever you want. Let me know if this is what you mean.

No, translucent is not the same as transparent. 100% transparent is 100% unusable, while 100% translucent drawer will leave text readable, the borders of each widget (scroll bars, folder/files area, etc...). To understand it right, install Oxygen-Translucent and turn it on (http://blog.renanfernandes.com.br/wp-co ... arent1.png) |

I see now, thanks for clarifying that.

Actually, that's exactly what I like about OxygenTransparent: (if everything goes right) only the important parts of a window like a text area or Dolphin's file area are opaque while control areas fade into the background. So it would have to be an option, if you ask me, but I guess that's what you were proposing. |
