It would be nice if KDE had a thumbnailing system like gnome's or even like windows.
For thumbnails in KDE, you need to configure things like what file formats you want to have thumbnails for, from what devices, what file sizes... and it goes on... I mean, having all this options is always good, but wouldn't it be better if KDE had thumbnails that worked for videos, pdf files, images, text, etc. out of the box? This is a big pain. |

Could you explain what do you mean by "thumbnails look ugly"?
But all-in-all I think this is more like a unconstructive ranting, just say that you wish that KDE would have at least the basic thumbnails (jpeg, gif, png, avi, mkv, pdf) enabled by the default and that's that. Thanks!
