I never understood those "visualizations".
As for me they just distract one from the music.

IMHO visualisation distract from the work, rather than music)

I think this is already planned for plasma media center, but I am not sure.

Hi TBC. A quick check of Techbase shows no activity on Plasma Media Center since it's conception. Are you aware if this project is moving forward at all?

Yes, it has been discussed on the mailing list and progress is definitely being made.
