Hi folks,
I'd love to see Dolphin having a better copyhandling such as xplorer² for Windows does it. http://zabkat.com/tour3a.htm There I can do for example queued copying, pausing and resume, which is really good for performance purpose. Is it possible to implement this in dolphin? What I would like to see is a context in dolphin to paste queued, whilst a copy process is running and not to first paste, then go to the notification and pause it manually. greetings maulbongo

maulbongo - when you request a feature or enhancement you need to define if so people will understand it or minimally point to web page that does (like http://www.zabkat.com/blog/17Feb08.htm). The page you refer to has no mention of it.
Are there specific other features xplorer² provides that you'd like to see? |

fyi - you can pause and resume large copies using the Notifications plasmoid in the system tray though you're looking for a copying que that can be added to from Dolphin
You might also include in your request setting io and cpu scheduling priorities for large copies though I don't know if it's feasible |

I don't get it, what do you mean with "though you're looking for a copying que that can be added to from Dolphin".
What I would like to see is a context in dolphin to paste queued, whilst a copy process is running and not to first paste, then go to the notification and pause it manually. Or even an option where I can set to always paste queued when a copy process is running. |
