This is my idea for a KDE dialog windows, which arose because of the inconvenience of working with Nepomuk
At now the tags and file comments must attach in the file manager, but it's much easier to do it right away when creating or saving a file, for example:

Create file dialog:

Save file dialog:

I can't find it but there was a blog entry by Sebastian Trueg (trueg) where he mocked up and asked for comments for a revised save dialog that included meta data. It's referenced here under "Semantic Saving and Loading of Documents" http://trueg.wordpress.com/2011/09/16/nepomuk-what-comes-next/

update: found it - Sebastian Trueg's semantic save prototype blog and discussion
