"click to hide" button for panel

When we use panels in the "Windows go below" mode, sometimes they get in the way of some content.
It would be nice to have buttons to hide (momentarily) the panel. For exemple, little << at the end of the panel we click it and the panel slides towards the button. Gnome 2's panels had this. |
