Hello.

In plasma netbook, you can maximize/restore from the panel. However unlike the button found in window decorations, middle clicking and right clicking this widget does not maximize the respective window vertically and horizontally.

In kwin If I press RMB on that button I've got maximize only horizontally.

I like that behavior and I think It will be great in that widget

And I think that We should have a choose for adding a "Minimize button" too.

Please add this functionality as this allows people to remove the window decorations to gain screen space (which is useful for netbook users), without losing any functionality,

For example, In my kde I do not use any windows decoration and windows menu. All is placed in panel using bar (kubuntu speciality) and that widget mentioned before.
see here what do I mean:

I think that giving to users more power in configuration You give us more flexibility. Which is relly relly great of You. I think that most of kde users love it for "high-configurability"

please write back. I'll appreciate. thanks

I'm sorry, I didn't quite understand your brainstorm idea. What changes are you proposing where?

I would like to You- Guys make widget (I do not how its called in english exactly) Controlling program more customizable, more flexible, more functional.
I've decoration buttons for close, maxymalise and minimalise on the left side of the bar. In presentation effect The close button is where it is on decoration, in my case on the left. But I cant set it for that widget. The buttons are only on the right side. And I cant add there a minimalise button unfortunatelly :(

Look at video I made. See what happend when I press left, right and middle mouse button on window decoration and what happening while I do the same on that widget. I can maksymalise it horizontaly (right mouse button) and maxymalise it verticaly (Middle mouse button)

I would like that that widget will replace window decoration for windows maxymalised.

OK - I think this is what you mean:

"In plasma netbook, you can maximize restore from the panel. However unlike the button found in window decorations, middle clicking and right clicking this widget does not maximize the respective window vertically and horizontally. Please add this functionality as this allows people to remove the window decorations to gain screen space (which is useful for netbook users), without losing any functionality."

Is that accurate?

I have rephrased your idea slightly to make it clearer. The idea is now approved.

Hey, Its me back again.
I am sorry that I am bother again.

I know that Idea isnt new. I supose it is implemented already in unity desktop, but I think this is worth to talk about it.
here is a screen print with comments

and full size link http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5197/6998998350_2e225fb7bb_b.jpg

The Idea is to:
-not show title bar off maximalised window
-move buttons like: "close, minimalise, unmaxymalise, below other, above others,on all desktops" to the widget current aplication on panel when the window is maxymalise

please give my yours thoughts
