dolphin detail view mode folder/item selection

Honestly I would rather think this is a bug.
In dolphin's detailed view mode (dolphin 2.0), you cannot select folders/items by line and you still have to click the very icon squeezed onto the very left side... This does looks weird to me... |

This feature is possible. I just tried it out right now. Please report as a bug.
