Hello,

I have suggestions for the KDE partition manager. Perhaps you can add three options :

- An option to be able to formate partition.
- An option to be able to mount partition.
- An option to formate the disk.

Thanks.

Regards.

Just like in Gparted when you right click a drive / partition and select new or click partition on the menu bar and select new the window that opens is for formatting it. Rightclick any disk / partition that isn't mounted and select mount. And your last request is the exact same thing as you first request.

EDIT:

Please don't forget on a raw drive you need to add a partition table before you can format the drive. Go to device in the menu bar and select mew partition table. Select GPT or MBR based on if your system is UEFI or Legacy.

since we are talking about partition, I wanted a tool dedicated to formatting pendrive as in gnome and windows! in dolphin there is https://store.kde.org/p/1328693 format usb with mintstik but mintstik is a tool from Mint, I don't want to install packages with ppa ... it would be nice a product like that native qt.

Simply Why? You can use GParted, Gnome-Disk, Etc.... no need for a program that only does flashdrives.

because if I use kde-partition-manager or Gparted, I have to be careful that it is the USB pendrive that is formatted! for those who know how to use it, they can get away with it, but a neophyte who gets confused or who just wants to format usb pendrives in fat 32 or exfat if possible and does not want to install a program that formats all partitions (it would be comparable to the difference between Gimp and Gwenview) would be helpful.

You know what I totally spaced to mention that Mintstick will on any Linux OS, you just have to find the one meant for your OS.
