Hi. I am using Kontact which is a great way to keep everything together.

The only thing I find a problem it that Knotes does not have a tree structure for organising my notes. It would be great if that were possible.

I know about basKet however it does not plugin to Kontact in KDE4 and it is a bit complex anyway.

Thanks.
Steve

Try KJots if that makes fills your needs. It's again actively developed (AFAIK) and from what I can tell it's exactly what you're asking for!

  • It is structured (in many levels into "books" and "(sub)pages",
  • has rich-text support and
  • is nicely integrated into Kontact

I just migrated all of my notes from KNotes to KJots a month ago and I'm pretty happy with it :)

Thanks. Yes, that is defiantly better (I do remember having a look at that during my search). It is good that it is part of Kontact and has two levels, still looking for multi level structure though.

You can always put "books" inside other "books" — that works just fine for me.

See screenshot for proof.

Ah, I see, drag and drop a new book into another. Doh!
