Problem: I'm constantly having to scroll through my short buddy list whilst in kopete. Pidgin, iChat and Adium all show my whole list.

Solution: Options for Large (as it is now)
Small (Probably based on the AIM size or smaller)
and No Buddy icons

[Edit]
I'm sorry, I just noticed that the contact photos don't shrink as much as the generic icons do, so this is a valid wish.

I just checked again what the current situation in trunk is: You can set the contact photo size to one of 3 levels.
The smallest of them for me still is a little larger than the the smallest generic icons (maybe two or three pixels), but I think it will be small enough for you.

It seems so. We just have to wait until the KDE4.3 (can't wait!).

The three levels are:
Small (1 line), Medium (2 lines), Large (3 lines).

Idea marked as implemented.
