The Power Management panel taskbar utility should be better integrated into system settings, and certain system settings should be better integrated into the panel utility.
For example, currently, you cannot access most of the Guidance Power Manager (panel taskbar utility) settings from System Settings. This can be frustrating since the taskbar program seems to override the general settings available in System Settings for "When Laptop Lid is Closed". Similarly, you can define Power Profiles in System Settings > Advanced > Power Management, but you cannot edit/select these power profiles from the panel taskbar. The limited integration causes a certain amount of extra clicking and searching. Perhaps even a button linking to Advanced Power Management would resolve many of these issues. (Using Kubuntu 8.10 w/ KDE 4.2.1)

Powerdevil is the official power manager in KDE 4.2. In the battery widget, there's a "More" button that takes you to the power management module in System Settings.
