Hi guys,

I think Kmail should give to users the possibility to associate an identity to a couple of servers for ingoing/outgoing mails.

For example, I've four identities for my four account on several providers. I'd like to associate them their respective servers to get and send mails.

It's an important feature for me and for someone other, I think.

Bye.

Already possible, although hidden away. I have answered this question for a few people before. KMail > Settings > Configure KMail > Identities > ( Select Identity ) > Modify Identity > Advanced > Special Transport will force an server to send email through for a particular identity.
