The only way I have (at least that I know) to see the network history under KDE is by using the Gnome System Monitor... :-S, so I think it would be a good idea to have that information in the KDE System Monitor too.

Here is how the Gnome System Monitor looks like:

The last graphic is the network history (sorry but I use the Spanish version of openSuse :P)

I have seen very similar graphs such as this in System Monitor already, however they start at the point you start the application. Please clarify which of the below the idea is for:
A) For the implementation of constant stats monitoring so they can be viewed at any time
B) Just for the implementation of a graph that displays the history since the application was started

The original idea was for option "B". I think "A" will use more system resourses, however it would be an interesting option to have, I mean, perhaps you can configure (in the KSysguard preferences) the way you want to see the network history between "A" and "B" options.

So when you run KSysguard, it will show the network history the way you want. Maybe by default it can show the option "B", which I think is more generic.

Option B has already been implemented in KDE 4.2 I Believe, and I have just confirmed the presence of this in trunk.
Idea marked as Implemented.
