Hi,

It happens very often to me, that I get a notification, but didn't notice it early enough to completely read it, or even miss it at all.
In such situations I always think: "Why is there no utility that could show me the last 5 notifications?"...

This utility could be an independent plasmoid, or could be implemented as an improvement to the current "notification icon" in the systray.

I'll try to create a mockup in the next couple of days

So, what do you think?

I'll start working on a mockup today...

As I watched the debate about actions on notifications, with some people saying that they force your attention and some saying they're vital I kept wondering why we don't have something like this idea so you don't *need* to rush and look at the notification... but you can when you *want to*.

+1 for a history viewer of sorts - of course the first step would be creating a log file of actions taken and displayed by the notifier including the date, time, actual command and if successful. This file then could be viewed, sorted and filtered using ksystemlog or it's own custom viewer.
