I would like to be able to search through the Klipper history.

It has been possible since KDE 3. Klipper has a "search as you type" feature. Just start typing and it will search through the available history (the limit of history is, of course, configurable).

The real problem is that this is not immediately discoverable. There should probably be a text input at the top to indicate that a search is possible.

Confirmed that this is present. Marked as "Implemented".

Agree. So my request could be turned into 'add a visible button to open the search field'
(preserving the possibility to jump into the search simply by starting typing)
