I'd like to have a native way to synchronise google calendar with kontact.
Evolution has a plugin for it (did not work for me, but anyway) It would be nice to have the sync script incorporated in kontact, and to have the google calendar as ressource... |

They are already working on Akonadi resources for google, including mail, contacts, and calendar. See this video for a demo of the calendar resource specifically: akonadi google calendar resource demo.

I'm not sure if it is working anywhere yet. I am using trunk and it does not appear to be available at least in my distribution. But it will be eventually.

As the mail from the link on blip.tv states it is hosted in playground, means, it is up for testing and isn't following any release schedule yet.
But as soon as it got enough testing it can probably be put into a different module to make it available for releases. In case for the ones who missed the link, here it is: http://lists.kde.org/?l=kde-pim&m=123922156622005&w=2 |
