KDE should have its own webcam tool like Gnome-Cheese.

Kopete allows the use of webcam but there is no easy way to capture a photo or record a video using webcam.

Needs some polishing though... It just crashes on me whatever I try.

guvcview does a far better job at the moment.

there is kamoso and it is already in karmic koala repos.. works great .. though i would really like to take hands on the user interface.. ist quite awful ;-) .. but on the other hand.. who cares...
