I do believe synchronisation and the ability to blend into the users workflow is a vital power of any PIM suite and the current work on blending KDEPIM with things like Google Services is definitely the right way to go. However not everybody likes uses Google's vast array of everything and some - myself included - enjoy other services, one being RememberTheMilk.com.
The title says it all, and now it's time for you to agree

I think any service providing such good should use public standards. NO DE is able to follow all api's, unless the by self supports plugin writhing for all platforms. Including RememberTheMIlk.com. As far as I know they use ical format, so the request should rewritten to [ktodo] Sync To-do's with [ical or any other format you like)

This would be possible using the appropriate Akonadi agent or resource. This would make the data available to all PIM applications using Akonadi without any changes needed to the applications.

OK - you are right. I guess since Akonadi's implementation of this is already in progress this thread is nullified.

Marked as "implemented", even though it is technically only "in progress".
