hello guys,

status of an email as new, read, important etc. is a great tool to comprise your email status of all your folders at one single glance.

however, my constantly full email-trash folder distracts me. so i think it would be a good thing if the filter rools that move an unwanted email to the trash-folder should be able at the same time to mark this email as read (and not highlighted as new) so the trash stays visually in the background and does not get too much of my attention being bold and crowned with the number of unread (trash)-emails in it.

perhaps there are even more possibilities: e.g. mark a group of emails by filter as being most important or allow read-confirmation for some and not for others and so on.

hope this seems useful to others too.

This is already implemented.

In the Filter-Actions, choose "Mark As".
