Currently if you want to move one window from one virtual desktop to another, you have to either use the pager plasmoid (which is small and thus hard to use), shortcuts or some harder method.
What I'd love is a KWin effect which allow to do this as easily as moving windows around on a single desktop. Let's say we have 2 virtual desktops and currently you are in the first one with one window open: The expected steps would be: - Click and keep pressed the left mouse button on the title of the window; - Move the cursor to the right side of the window and keep dragging in that direction; - After a short delay the desktop is switched to the second one and you keep dragging the window where you want. To me this is one of the most useful compiz effects and I really miss it in kwin since without it it's unnecessarily hard to handle windows using just mouse. |
