Geolocation tagging for photos

The idea is as follows.

Photos can be tagged with a geographic location. This data can be used to create interactive maps to browse photos or to group your holidays based on location.You could also determine the route taken on a holiday based on geolocation data and timestamps.

Digikam already does this.
