Hi,
The idea is to enable users to change colour background in Dolphin view. Now it is white and you can't change it. Just think if you could turn it into another colour or even set a personal wallpaper. The similar function was done in gwenview where you can change colour of background which is behind photos.

what do you think, are you willing to have such function?

You can already change the color in system settings/personal settings->appearance->colors. It applies to the file chooser area generally.
