Dolphin is a good program and it has many interesting features but also the
look and feel is equally important. When the Folders,Places and information views are open, prevailing the gray colour, gray colour and yet gray color. I think it should be possible to change the background color views and also provide the ability to block the placement of views and hide the resize button and close button in order to have a cleaner interface |

First of all, this is multiple ideas. Please post each idea in a separate thread.
Second, colors are handled globally by the KDE window color settings (under system settings/personal settings -> appearance -> colors). You can't change them on a per-window basis, nor is it a good idea to do so because it wrecks consistency. You can change the global color settings however you want, though. Third, I don't know what you mean by "block the placement of views". Fourth, if the close and resize buttong you are referring to are the ones in the title bar bar, you can change them in system settings/personal settings -> appearance -> windows -> buttons tab. Clock "use custom titlebar button positions" and follow the instructions provided. I'm marking this idea as pre-existing. All of the things you described can be changed globally, and if they add the ability to change them on a per-window basis, it will not be integrated into dolphin specifically, it will be implemented as a general setting that can be applied to any window. If you want to make separate ideas about being able to set each of these settings on a per-window basis, I will approve those, but please do not lump them all into a single idea like this. Changing colors on a per-window basis idea is already here, so don't post it again please.
