This is a problem that has been true for KDE as long as it has existed. What with all of the effort put into making KDE4 nice and attractive, it would be good to put some attention towards basic, low level usability.
One very specific place where KDE could fix its violations of Fitts's Law is with respect to vertical scrollbars on the right hand side of maximized windows. Take Konqueror, for instance. Between the scrollbar and the right side of the screen, there is a gap of at least one pixel where clicking has no effect. To scroll, the user has to move the pointer left a few pixels. To correct this, the scrollbar should be made completely flush with the edge of the screen. This way, it's effectively infinitely wide and thus much easier to hit. |

I fail to reach the gap where clicking has no effect in the scrollbar, this is in kde4.3.2
also, keep in mind you can drop a toolbar (or docker) next to the scrollbar, so the scrollbar won't be always right at edge of the screen in all configs. |

Yep, you are right. This is already implemented.
