I really love Krunner and i use it all the time, but sometimes i can't remember the exact name of what i need because i would have named it something else (for example, i enter "configurations" trying to open the "System Preferences" because i'm looking for "System Configurations")

so basically the idea is to provide a way to define aliases, tags, or whatever, so i can choose how to open my app, dialog, configuration, etc

Right-click on the application launcher, click "menu edit", find the application you want, change the name and/or description.

well, that's a workaround that fixes the apps thing, but what about if you want to open the "effects" dialog using another word, or if you want to define a special word to execute something...

You can make a new menu entry pointing to the same program easily enough.
