I often paste my company's address, some legal paragraphs, my personal contact information, generic instructions, etc., when writing emails, instant messages, text documents, and so forth. For example, I often end emails to my clients with "I hope that this has answered your question, but if you need additional help, please feel free to ask. Written correspondence can be sent to the following address...blah blah."
It would be convenient to have a system-wide Right-Click "Cut/Copy/Paste Macro ->" function. |

What about having this stored in Klipper?
You can do that already. It's just that it can get overwritten by other data. So you could rewrite your idea to include this info. If you want...

Sounds like the Paste Plasmoids would do the job, why not give it a try?
Should be available in kdeplasma-addons, if I remember correctly.

Wow, I've been searching for this for such a long time! Thank you, Hans! I'm going to give it a try. Heh, I never knew this existed. Might be nice if it had right-click text entry, but the way it works now is perfectly fine.

The advantage of this is that it works for all applications, not just KDE apps.

I can't seem to get it to work in XTerm, but everything else works fine. This is really great. (-: I would like to change my original post to "Pre-Existing" or "Invalid" or something to that effect, because I think this widget is almost exactly what I was looking for the whole time.

You need to change the paste shortcut for XTerm (because the default Ctrl-V doesn't work). See Settings -> Automatic Paste -> Konsole for an example.
Glad that you liked this solution, idea marked as Pre-Existing.
