Turn all sound off

Mon May 10, 2010 7:20 pm
First thing I do when I install an OS is to turn the system sound off, those little ogg or wav files that drive me nut when I empty the Trash or do something else.
In KDE I have to disable those sounds individually.

Maybe there is a way to disable all at once instead of doing it for every action that have a sound associated with it.

I understand that some user like those sounds, but the option to disable all at once should be offered.

Am I missing something or is it something that other users would like to see.

Thank you for the fabulous work done so far on KDE.

You can do it in System Settings -> Notifications -> [System Notifications] -> Player Settings -> No audio output.
