Cutting a file from a trash

There are times we need to restore some file(s) from trash. Unfortunately we don't remember where the file was from. So the first reaction is "cut and paste somewhere". Now it's not possible though. We can only restore to original place or drag the file and drop somewhere on the left.

My idea is to add this option to trash menu. Personally I do miss it. And you? Please like it or not by voting. :)

You do know there is a "restore" option if you right click on file in trash? This idea is pre-exsisting.

Primoz: please read carefully before writing! I know there's "restore" option and mentioned it above. But we _do_not_ have any chance to cut a file and paste where we want to.
Restore to original place and cut and paste anywhere is a different idea!

It's actually possible to cut/copy files from trash:/ (using keyboard shortcuts or from the Edit menu).

Is your idea to add these actions to the context menu (the one that pops up on right click) for items in trash? If that's the case, please edit the text to make it clearer.

This is implemented in KDE 4.5, so it is still "pre-existing".

Hm, I don't see it in my trunk installation (updated a few days ago). The items in the context menu are: Restore, Delete, Properties.
