It would be nice, that when you are on your desktop, and you press any key, appears a screen semi transparent with a search on all your programs, the chance to send a mail to the person write in the "search box", search that in google, etc, etc
:) I think i could do every thing easier and quickly |

This already exists. It is called krunner, and the default shortcut is alt+f2.
