it would be very interesting to see the number of votes already on the overview page:
viewforum.php?f=83

it could look like this:

This could be useful, but...
Idea preview already does that. When you hover your mouse button over table row, then little magnifier icon and "Preview" text appears next to "Replies" column (on it's left). Just hover your mouse over it and wait a while.
You must have JavaScript enabled in your browser for it to work.

If it does not work in your browser, then this is bug and not an idea. Please post detailed information about your environment, then (browser name, version, UA string, any plugins/extensions that might be enabled etc.).

Best regards

sure i saw that, and it works, but you can't get an overview like that

if the votes would be visible in the overview, you could easily see, which is most wanted if you browse through the system for inspiration ;)

also i think voting is one of the main feature here, isn't it?

IMO, this is a regression: Brainstorm used to present the votes on the overview, but when they last upgraded the forums the feature got dropped.

Well, as we mentioned earlier, the AJAX interface was something that was becoming unmanageable with core updates coming out for phpBB. It was a copy of the entire posting, threading and forum codes, and it was bound to pose a security risk in future in case a security update to phpBB isn't synced with the Brainstorm section. That being said, we cannot enable voting controls on the topic list unfortunately. That's the reason I added the topic preview option, and then a timer to show the popup automatically.

Although, since this idea is just about showing the votes of the idea, that is certainly possible. Moving this to in-dev.
