since today, MathematiK uses LibSpectre to render eps files (e.g. Latex output). you may have to update the dependencies of your package

i suspect there's a mess of old and new versions of some things installed. i think you should try to remove every lib installed by mathmematik (libmathematik*) and do a clean build and install

Yes I had to manually delete some old files that "make uninstall" didn't remove. Now it works, worksheets are much more usable, the only big lack is still the fact that it can't handle non-tex output (both errors and questions). I'm glad to see you keep actively working on this. |

i reworked the parsing code and now it should handle errors correctly, but i can't really find a way to detect if something is a question except for comparing the output to known questions.

Isn't it possible to determine, if the application is waiting for input.
When the application is waiting for normal command input it outputs something like ($i23) or >>. |

at least KProcess doesn't seem to provide an API for it.
i just added a different approach to decide wether output is Error or Question. it uses a timer and if after 100ms the process didn't send any other output or some kind of prompt, we assume is a question. it seems to work in most simple test cases. can you please test it and check if it causes any problems?
