I would like to have a fast way to connect a remote shares (nfs, samba, sshfs) by for example, right-click on the desktop -> Connect to remote share -> (nfs|samba|sshfs) -> Mount localy -> Ok

And some integration in Dolphin for fast remote sharebrowsing. Like in Konqurer in version 3.x where you where able to type smb:// fish:// in the url field.

Those smb:// and fish:// are called KIO slaves and are still available in KDE4. Dolphin supports them, so what's your problem with using smb:// in dolphin?

There is no history-completion for the KIO-slaves and tab-completion only works once you have connected the first time. But I think there is already a bug-report for that.

I know that they are still available, but not as obvious as before, a small text url field somewhere in Dolphin should be wonderful, its faster to type then to click, the mainrequest was the right-click request to add/mount shares directly from the deskop.

The network kio slave has a wizard for connecting to new shares.
