There are a lot of tags now. But maybe there are two tags, which are similar but the forum software treats them as two different tags.
e. g.
tag 1 is "forum"
tag 2 is "kde forum"

My idea for a solution is, two let the users connect these tags. So if the tags are connected and they search for "forum" they'll get the threads with the tags "forum" and "kde forum".

I thought of a completion system first, but as sayakb said in this thread there are too many tags to search for them to complete the users input.

I am not very sure how this can be achieved. Connecting tags will make searching somewhat pain, since that will not only search the queried tags but every other connected tag.

Nevertheless, it sounds like a good idea. All it needs is some votes
