Hi all,
You probably know of Windows 7's Aero Snap, the feature to maximize a window by moving it to the top of the screen. And what's more interesting is maximizing in the left or right half of the screen. I would like to see this implemented in a advanced version for keyboard users. For example pressing Ctrl+Super and left maximizes a window in the left half. Right does the same for the right side, up for the whole screen, down minimizes the window. Of course we can think about maximizing in the upper and lower half, too, but I think screens are getting wider each year so this isn't that usefull. For a visual impression check how compiz handles this: http://blip.tv/file/2552286/ What do you think? |
