I recently got one of those large rectangular displays with a high aspect ratio and quickly noticed that the handling of window sizes and positions is a bit awkward especially when you have two displays.
We have the commands move, resize, minimise and maximise and none of these have (if I have got it right) any keyboard shortcuts, so we have to give the mouse a lot of exercise and the windows unnecessary attention. I would like to suggest that KDE introduces a set of predefined window sizes and positions that can be reached with keyboard shortcuts and perhaps icons in the window upper right corner. This should be user configurable but have a decent set of defaults. Thank you for an otherwise excellent desktop! H??kan |
