Hi, navigation is now impossible. For 2-level forums, there is no way to move up from topic and then up to main level; and even to move up from topic page to the topic list one needs to locate the link on the black bar on the bottom; the problem is that e.g. General Help forum exists in many instances on forum.kde.org.
From UX perspective, users most often look for the breadcrumb in the most typical place, i.e. the topic's title or subforum's name. For example, at viewforum.php?f=221 there's no trace of info that I am browsing the Kexi forum. There's just General Help in the HTML title, and on the web page. Look, even web spiders will not be able to get the idea easily. This of course will degrade content discovery. Hopefully this is just beta of the style, which otherwise is really clean so I have big hopes everything will be superamazing from both visual and usability POV.

+1 from me, it is really cumbersome now to navigate to the previous level.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Not sure what you mean here. Yes, the location for breadcrumbs on bottom and in a dropup is new, but it only goes through parents, so assuming you are in the general help of Kexi, then you will only see Kexi -> Office&Productivity -> KDE Software. No way to mix it up with other forums.
Even though not at the end of its evolution, this is not considered to be a beta. |

neverendingo, I can only spot General Help link at the bottom. After clicking it I am back to General Help again, and so on. Please look at the screenshot from firefox 11.0 and 1600x1200 display: |

why the old bread crumb was more useful then the new - it was easier to visually determine if the post was in the proper forum, with the new it is not so obvious.

As I said: firefox 11.0. I noticed the smal larrow (tiny on my display) at the bottom: I see no way how average Joe would have have clue at which item of hierarchy he is. Is see only a small arrow - if that's all, this disappoints (even if this is portable visually - it is not at the moment). Below you wrote visually determine if the post was in the proper forum which is exactly the same as I say - no clue at which item of hierarchy I am. |

Thanks for notifying us about this BUG. The arrow is not supposed to be below the current forum. Fix is in our experimental branch and will be online soon.
