How to get email notifications for posts in subscribed forum

Hi,
I am subscribed eg. for the "Kexi Help" forum and would like to be notified about new posts. Last week I missed some notifications, eg. for viewtopic.php?f=221&t=118584. Any idea? J. |

Can you check in the tools menu for that topic whether it shows you as subscribed to the topic or not? If you are subscribed to the topic it will provide an option for you to unsubscribe (and vice versa).

Yes, I am am subscribed, and as soon as I subscribe notifications work. The thing is however that I am not automatically subscribed for new topics. This would make sense for persons with roles such as project maintainer.
Otherwise such persons need to rely on Google Alert or similar inferior solutions (please correct me if I missed something). |

might not be optimal but feeds work for me on the forum level (including new topics)

Please check your preferences at ucp.php?i=prefs&mode=post - I suspect subscription for notifications have become turned off for you by default.
