This forum is a rather awkward one to navigate and I have some points to mention here.
1. There is no indicator of which forum you are looking it. I have just seen the panel at the bottom of the page which shows the current forum. It isn't very obvious and intuitive and it took me some time to notices it. The current forum should be place at the top of the page. 2. The entries at the top of the page are a waste of space. New Topic, Find a Solution, Contact Forum staff and stuff like Board Indix, FAQ, Policy etc, don't belong at the top. They are just a waste of space and a distraction. The main content is what should be visible and the other stuff should be subsidiary. 3. View your posts only seems to display posts you created. There should be another option to display topics you are participating in even if you didn't start them. Either that or the View your posts should also list the other topics you are involved in, and perhaps highlight those you started separately. I am not unappreciative but I think a widely used popular desktop systems deserves a system where the information is system where the information presented and is quickly and easily seen. The CSS design and info layout is rather wasteful of screen space. Is it an attempt at some kind of mobile friendly design? |
