Hello I've the kernel version 4.13.0-26 and I'm experiencing problem mounting CIFS:

# sudo mount -t cifs //mydomain.com/documents /home/nico/mnt/documents -o user=nico
mount error(2): No such file or directory
Refer to the mount.cifs(8) manual page (e.g. man mount.cifs)

This works correctly with the kernel before.

This is a bug with high impact and need to solve as soon as possible.

Thanks for help!!

best regards,
Nico

The KDE community is not involved with kernel maintenance, this is done by the distributions. You should report this to your distribution (which btw. you should also include in any post to a forum not distribution specific).

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
