Has the german forum become inactive?
 I posted something a few months ago and it was never answered. As well almost no topics have been answered since more than one year Was there an announcement that the forum was abandoned or discontinued ? |

It is active, but usually we are quite busy, and if you can ask a question in English you will have a much higher chance of getting it answered. Mind you, most questions asked in the German subforum are probably already asked and answered in English.
As with all other volunteer driven communities: the person who sees the question and knows the answer will answer if they have time to.

Clearly an exaggeration, as there have been answers in February and March this year...

If you are with Kubuntu you may also come to the German speaking forum. However we too had a loss of users. I think many new Linuxers prefer the social medias.
