Hi, I am new here, and I could not see a better sub-forum to post this, so feel free to move if there is is a more appropriate forum, which escaped by attention.

so I was trying to upload images for the background competition, but alas every time I press submit; my eyes are sundered by the red rectangle of frustration, bearing the grim message than the dimensions of my image could not be determined.

the competition post dispensed precise detail as to how your image should be presented, details which I have followed, only for my forum submission to be cast back to the Harddrive from which it was birthed.

the image hosting platform was imgur.

the files were pngs.

How about giving a link to the imgur location of your file? Unless you are saying you couldn't upload to imgur, which is not in our hands.

Which background competition are you talking about?

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

Hey CyliderDude,

Have You tried any third party image hosting sites?

I mean, You simply upload your image then copy the link from there and paste it. For Your Background Competition.
