I just registered for this forum. I found the registration process confusing.

The prompts seemed to use the terms "nickname" and "username" interchangeably. But they seem to have different meanings to the registration process. Though I cannot tell you which is which based on what was displayed to me.

Also, the two-factor authentication grid got the alphabet wrong. It omitted the "I" column. Instead of "HIJK" it has "HJK"

my first registration fails, cause i couldn't choose a username, great :-\ My Ip was blocked immediately, so i couldn't make a second registration

and how do you know this was actually blocked? Maybe you just made a typo. Please send a mail to the KDE sysadmins (sysadmin@kde.org) about your problem, the forum is the wrong place to solve this issue. Do NOT send private information to the sysadmins mailing list, an admin will contact you privately about it.

FWIW: since you were able to post in this forum, you are registered to the forum, so is this really still an issue?

FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
