Hi all. I very recently registered for an account. Everything seemed normal - I posted a couple of questions and replies and the forum emailed reply notifications to the specified address with my chosen username. But then when I came back later it refused my credentials saying either my username or password were incorrect but I know they were right. Maybe it's because I never logged out or left the page for a couple of days or because I didn't get a confirmation email like I did with this account. Anyway if I try to use the same email or username to create a new account I am told the they both already exist. Strange.
This account seems OK and I did get the confirmation email so I guess all is good now. |

We could explore more, but for that I suggest you send your Identity username and forum username you can't access anymore in a PM to the forum admins or moderators group. Don't send any password, please!

FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Thanks, but I don't know how to do that. I'm not worried about it but if someone there wants to look at it to see if it was a glitch I will send them the one that shows up in my original email.
edit: Maybe I made mistake - I just noticed that my username was one letter shorter than I thought. Maybe a typo when I was registering. I will log out and try again (I was logged in automatically). edit2: That's what it was. Sorry for the trouble. |
