IMHO some admins here might be a bit easy on going against valued contributors.

I replied to a 4 year old posting and got punished for it, claiming my posting "would help nobody".

This is patently untrue and unfounded. It may be just the personal opinion of a single individual, in fact.

That hint I gave was absolutely relevant in current KDE plasmashell.

Is there any recourse against being mobbed by admins in this forum, such as Mamarok ?
