I've been searching for a way to change the default settings for this forum from the blinding white default to something easier on the eyes. Am I missing a settings-page or link? Please provide an alternate appearance!

No, you didn't miss anything, this is the default skin in use. Please open a ticket on https://bugs.kde.org/enter_bug.cgi?prod ... um.kde.org

You could apply a custom css by installing stylish or create a userContent.css (for firefox) to the site or install a dark extension ( dark reader or similar). https://imgur.com/a/TYfNXyB
