When trying to ask a question about the System Monitor in the System and Utilities forum, I find that the application is not among the list of applications to choose from.

There is no specific subforum, you can simply ask the question in the Systems & Utilities forum.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

Check if the plasma-systemmonitor is installed.

This realm's name is Maya. And she speaks Hertz. But Ahamkara makes a fuzz about it.

I believe I'm referring to the behavior of precisely that application.

This thread is only meant to point out that System Monitor is not in the list of applications from which the posting workflow asks to pick.

The thread re the issue with System Monitor is this one: https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=175806#p457072.
