I hope I'm not being impatient, but I haven't found a similar question anywhere, and Im really hoping for an answer before I retake 17 videos because I can't join them

Im guessing I'm missing something simple, because my question feels basic. My phone cuts files off after 1/2 hr of recording, and I just want to join together two files with video and audio, end to end, no other modifications needed. I can load them into the bin and bring each down to a timeline, but not to the same timeline for merging instead of layering. What do I do?
