Hello! Few minutes ago forum.kde.org was unaccessible with "Too many connections" and "The maximum server load limit has been reached. Please check back later once the server is less busy." errors. Maybe you will change you apache webserver to nginx + php as fastcgi? It's more thriftily for server resources.

Unfortunately we currently have some load issues under some circumstances. They currently usually resolve themselves within a reasonable ( 10 minutes ) amount of time, if they do not please contact one of the staff in #kde-forum on FreeNode.

You can get a list of forum staff IRC nicks using the following command in #kde-forum. It will be answered by our bot, sKreamer.

It happened again last night around 21:30 GMT when I was webbrowsing. The whole site froze and I had to wait ages to log out.

Apologies for the problems. We are still working on resolving the problem, and have some changes planned that will hopefully fix it.

We should be upgrading our forum software within a week or so, which should probably sort out all issues. Thank you for your patience.
