When you press on "go back to forum" after submitting a thread you are redirected to:
forumdisplay.php?f ... php?fid=83

As you see that the URL has been translated to the SEO url, and that will happen only when the URL is correct. This is probably a board software related issue, which should be solved with our next upgrade.
